There are two kinds of inflammation: acute and chronic.

Meet the Coach

Amy Howe is a accredited Functional Nutritionist has been studying nutrition for over 10 years.
 
My health journey began 9 years ago when I entered early menopause at the early age of 32.
 
I gained a rapid 35lbs, started having anxiety, stress management issues, absent periods, constipation, water retention and more. 
 
I went to my family doctor and he prescribed an anti depressant but I wasn’t depressed, I was concerned.  I had been a personal trainer and a nutrition coach for over a decade at that time and had competed in 8 fitness shows.   I KNEW how to lose weight BUT this time around, my body was unable.      Seeing as I was going to get no assistance from my family doctor, I decided to go back to school and learn how to help not only myself but other women who are struggling with similar issues such as exhaustion, weight gain, fatigue, hair loss, lack of periods, menopause symptoms and more.
 
I knew I had to totally revamp my diet, ditch all of the chemicals I was using on my body and in my home, and allow myself time to heal. 
 
And that was just the beginning of my healing journey.
 
Over the next 3 years, I learned how to manage my stress and figure out how to structure my lifestyle to support my body and health.
 
All of this led me to my passion for hormonal balance and sexual health. Because it feels really fucking sexy to be empowered with the knowledge to heal your own body.
